WIRN 2025

The Italian Workshop on Neural Networks

4 – 6 June 2025 – Vietri sul Mare (SA), Italy

WIRN 2025

The Italian Workshop on Neural Networks (WIRN) is the annual conference of the Italian Society of Neural Networks (SIREN). The historical venue of the conference, since 1989 is in Vietri Sul Mare, Salerno, Italy. WIRN is a 32-year traditional event devoted to the discussion of novelties and innovations related to field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Neural Networks (NN). In recent years, it also became a multidisciplinary forum on psychological and cognitive theories for modelling human behaviours.

CALL FOR PAPERS: Prospective authors are invited to contribute with original, not published elsewhere, high quality papers in the topic areas listed below. Papers will be reviewed by the Program Committee and can be accepted for oral or poster presentation. Accepted contributions will be published in a Springer printed volume indexed by SCOPUS.

Authors are limited to one paper per registration, not exceeding 13-15 pages’ limit. Springer Paper format is on https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelinesSubmission is through Easy Chair.

Selected WIRN 25 papers will be invited to submit an extended version to selected Journal Special Issues.

WORKSHOPS: Held inside WIRN are dedicated WORKSHOPS devoted to enhancing the theoretical and practical aspects of AI. Proposers must send their proposals, to the WIRN 2025 organizing committee: Anna Esposito, Gennaro Cordasco, Marcos Faundez-Zanuy, Francesco Carlo Morabito, Eros Pasero.

BEST PhD THESIS “Caianiello’s AWARD”: SIREN is sponsoring the best PhD Thesis published during 2023-2025 with a WIRN 2025 free registration (including social dinner, 1st and 2nd position). PhD graduated must submit the thesis to the Award Committee Anna Esposito, Francesco Carlo Morabito, Eros Pasero (iiass.annaesp@tin.itmorabito@unirc.it, eros.pasero@polito.it). See (LINK TBA).
